A Shot at Life
Petfinders.com Foundation has teamed up with Boehringer Ingelheim sponsoring a vaccination program called "A Shot at Life"
Just when I thought Boehringer Ingelheim couldn't sink any lower, they have proven me wrong. The very name of this campaign is an insult to VAS victims. I can only think of the many cats who did NOT have a "shot at life" once this poison was injected into their blood stream.
Stimpy did not have a shot at life.
Dixie did not have a shot at life.
Litte Girl did not have a shot at life.
All victims of Boehringer Ingelheim vaccines.
This is an obvious smoke screen from Boehringer Ingelheim to make themselves look like a caring pharmaceutical company. If they cared, they would pay the owners of the victims when their vaccines cause this cancer. They would cover the cost of the care for the cats. Often, this $30 vaccine that we are told will "protect" our cats, has frequently cost victims $5000-7000 by the time treatment is over. Many others have paid much more. We paid over $40,000 for Stimpy's care over an 18 month period. I know others who have spent $20,000-25,000 + to try and save their cat.
Once again, Boehringer Ingelheim have proven what liars they are. In a letter to myself from George Heidgerken, the former CEO of Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, he promised me that they would implement changes so BI employees would be more compassionate towards VAS victims. Marla Persky lied to me and told me the same. She is a lawyer, so lying comes easily for her. The name of this campaign is so offensive and insensitive to all VAS victims. My guess is that Boehringer Ingelheim did nothing to report of the risks of their vaccines when they so generously donated the vaccines to Petfinder.com
This picture of the cat sitting on a case of Boehringer Ingelheim vaccines is confusing. Are they implying Mary Kate is going to live such a long life that she will be needing ALL of these vaccines? To me, it is a strong statement that we are over vaccinating our cats.
It does not surprise me that Boehringer Ingelheim is behind this campaign. They have no morals when it comes to deceiving the public about their vaccines. It is a billion dollar industry for them, and that is where their loyalties lie, their profits.
Normally I support Petfinders for the work they do, but I cannot endorse this new campaign. They ask for donations and likes on their site and at http://theanimalrescuesite.greatergood.com/clickToGive/ars/pet-vaccination-challenge I would encourage you to NOT support this new campaign considering it is so insensitive to VAS victims. If Boehringer Ingelheim did not even consider the implications of this title, then it only proves how calloused they really are.
